Nélio full name Nélio da Silva Melo (born 26 January 1971) is a Brazilian footballer.
Nélio brothers Nildeson and Gilberto were also footballers, represented El Salvador and Brazil respectively.
Nélio scored three times for Haladás at Hungarian National Championship I 2000-01.[1][2] He then returned to Brazil for Botafogo (SP) in August 2001.[3]
He was signed for Botafogo (PB) in December 2001.[4] He played at Copa do Brasil 2002 and Campeonato do Nordeste 2002, which he scored at the latter[5][6] He was recoved from injury in April.[7]
Nélio played twice for Haladás at Hungarian National Championship I 2003-04.[8][9]
